BRGA is pleased to host a Basic Manners Class specifically geared to greyhounds. (It’s really to train the humans.) Every dog is different and every dog learns in his or her own way. This class will help you understand how your dog learns, so you can develop fun ways to teach them basic manners. We will cover several topics including wait, stay, attention and the recall - all using fun games and a positive attitude. So bring your grey, some super high-value treats and their favorite toys and plan to have fun learning how to communicate with your greyhound.

Reservations are a must as we can only take 25 dogs. The cost is $25 per dog.

Blue Ridge Greyhound Adoption (BRGA) is a racing-neutral, non-profit greyhound adoption organization serving the entire Northern Virginia and adjacent areas east of the Blue Ridge Mountains. BRGA was founded in May, 2005 in Leesburg, Virginia. BRGA is dedicated to finding responsible, loving homes for retired racing greyhounds. Our goal is to promote public awareness about what excellent pets these elegant dogs make. We work closely with other greyhound adoption organizations to ensure that no retired racing greyhound is left behind.
