BRGA is pleased to start a series of Basic Manners Classes specifically geared to greyhounds. (It’s really to train the humans.) Every dog is different and every dog learns in his or her own way. This class will help you understand how your dog learns, so you can develop fun ways to teach them basic manners.

The first class will be on getting your greys attention. This will be a prerequisite to all subsequent classes.

The next class will cover wait; the third class will cover come. All training will be using fun games and a positive attitude. So bring your grey, some super high-value treats and their favorite toys and plan to have fun learning how to communicate with your greyhound.

The cost is $20 and we are limited to 12 dogs. A liability form will be sent to you once you register. Please sign and bring with you to the event.

Blue Ridge Greyhound Adoption (BRGA) is a racing-neutral, non-profit greyhound adoption organization serving the entire Northern Virginia and adjacent areas east of the Blue Ridge Mountains. BRGA was founded in May, 2005 in Leesburg, Virginia. BRGA is dedicated to finding responsible, loving homes for retired racing greyhounds. Our goal is to promote public awareness about what excellent pets these elegant dogs make. We work closely with other greyhound adoption organizations to ensure that no retired racing greyhound is left behind.
